My dual language book of Mormon just arrived today and I can already tell it is going to be a game changer. It is very high-quality and I will get so much juice out of it. Thanks, native scripture!
My siblings and I bought this as a gift for our parents, who are serving a senior mission in Korea in a few months and it blew them away. They have loved it so much and it has helped them in learning/ relearning Korean. Highly recommend!
Great use of preparing to go on a mission as well as keep up your Japanese after your mission.
The text and the style on the inside is great. But the book itself has scuffs. The gold trim is scratched and there are a couple of dents in the front cover. I would also like a bit bigger font on the binding.
I'm buying these for all our ward missionaries when they go to foreign missions. Now I'm buying this Russian dual language for me.

The book is beautiful! Looks and feels just like church printed scriptures. I appreciate that it's not big and bulky. My favorite thing is how the two languages match up on the page. I want to learn all the languages so I can have a whole collection.
It is a good product; however, I have realized by reading there are typos in the Samoan. For example 1 Nephi 11:28 it says in the beginning: "ma sa ou iloa atu" And I behold. This is right.... but in the same verse after "to hear him - a faalogologo ia te ia" it says "ma sa ou uloa atu" which makes no sense.... There's no word uloa doing any work in that clause, and the formula forces the reading anyway: sa (past), ou (1sg), iloa (perceive/behold), atu (directional, gaze outward). Samoan is relentlessly formulaic where that phrase recurs hundreds of times. This is just one of the many typos there are in the Samoan side by side. They pull from the Church's official text so I get what I am saying. However, knowing there are issues they should be working with the Church to actually fix mistakes.... Mosiah 8:2 lauelele should be laueleele it dropped e (land)... Mosiah 27:31 famasinoga should be faamasinoga --- faa→fa (judgment)... Mormon 3:18 fogaelele should be fogaeleele but it dropped an extra e (surface of earth)... and Mormon 6:20 fanoanoa should be faanoanoa... another faa→fa (mourn) where they drop the faa and make it fa...

My husband loves it! He served a mission in Japan about 10 years ago. He has been wanting to study Japanese and the scriptures more and it has been great for him to do both.
I bought this for my grandson who will be leaving for a mission in Argentina in a couple of months, thinking this would give him a headstart on the language. He was more excited than I thought he would be when he opened it and saw what it was. I think he realized what a help it will be for him as he prepares to serve, and beyond. I saw a couple of cheaper options on amazon, but they were big and bulky. I was happy to pay a bit more to get a "normal" sized book that he can easily carry with him. I'm very happy with it!

For $20, you think the gold would show thru every letter. Ours came looking like it had been used or ink ran out. Disappointed.
